Past, Present, and Future: Tales from Three Times

This book is a collection of three short stories that all take place in a different time. The first story, Take to the Sky, takes place in 1970s East Germany, and is a historical fiction about how two friends engineered a hot air balloon to fly their families over the Berlin wall and to a better life in the west. The second story, Cheaters Never Win, is a detective story loosely based on true events where a detective hired by casino moguls tries his best to hunt down an infamous band of cheaters that stole millions from the casinos. And the third story, You Reap What you Sow, is a science fiction story about an AI that went rogue, and the struggle of its creator to shut it down. The first story is set in the past, the second is set in the present, and the third is set in the future, hence the title. Unfortunately the middle story is incomplete for now, but the other two do have complete endings.
