Due to our outstanding literary talent, the Advanced Grammar and Composition class of 2005 found it both necessary (so we could pass the class) and advantageous (we did not want to deprive the world of our literary genius) to compile our semester’s work into a modest masterpiece.
With five girls and one Elijah Horton, class was never boring (except, of course, when we couldn’t think of anything to write). At times, our professor, Dr. Paramore, was astounded by the creativity of his female students. However, they could not compete with the star of the class, Elijah.
Elijah single-handedly managed to monopolize nearly every conversation and class discussion (in all humility of course). Dr. Paramore was famous for asking a question and then asking “anyone but Elijah” to answer.
With this background information in mind, please allow this year’s class to present to you our work of art, Anyone but Elijah.
