His mistake

It has been three years ever since Kyran and Avaline defeated the dark order and they're now ruling over Maeria together as one. Avaline is still on edge, constantly looking over her shoulder just incase a member of the dark order somehow made it out alive and is coming after both her and Kyran; she just couldn't get it out of her head. Kyran tries to reassure her that everything is okay and the immediate danger had passed but she didn't believe it, she knew the dark order too well to know that they'd never just give up without an actual fight. Will Avaline get over her fears of the dark order possibly making a return, or will the past haunt her so much to the point of insanity?
