Crying Buffalo

A fiction story for adults who wish to experience this through an eleven-year-old girl’s point of view, also suited to children (9-11). The reader is transported into another world -- a Zulu world, where it’s fiercest secret shows a girl how to cope with a traumatic family event. All the same, this story doesn't necessarily focus on suicide, merely sets aside for awareness, and at eleven-years old, Jordi experiences this awful change. Her carefree world comes crashing down, but she becomes aware of a new one; one occupied by a fearsome Zulu King, a regal Zulu Queen and her vulture, unusual Zulu gods, Zulu mythological characters, and the dreaded Tokoloshe. This tale covers the five documented stages of grief: Denial, anger, bargaining, depression and finally, acceptance. A young girl’s journey to come to terms with the suicide of her Father.
