stepmothers

ByElizabeth Tattersall

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Part one touches on the neurobiology and social conditioning that leads children to reject a stepmother. It touches on how to limit the pain by having more realistic expectations of the situation and how to source support for you and your stepchildren. It encourages step mothers to depersonalize some of the more painful experiences and to keep their hearts open yet protected. This manuscript has been edited by Susan Lugton, registered psychologist. Susan has worked extensively with children and family issues and has been published in many journals. Part two takes three Brothers Grimm tales and retells them from a more realistic point of view. The stepmothers are not successful, but they do try very hard to make the best of some bad situations.
