Shadow Walk is the fourth book in the “Mind the Reflections” series. In the “Mind the Reflections” series, I travel across Korea and around the world, capturing scenes reflected, mirrored, and projected in various corners near and far. Through these photographs, I present landscapes reflected in eyes and hearts, worlds seen through lenses, and fleeting reflections—passing moments mirrored in the world around us. In capturing these reflected scenes and mirrored vistas, I often found myself questioning: Is the world I see and experience as it appears to me? These images are an invitation for viewers to reflect on the landscapes both within and around us. “Shadow Wall” captures striking moments when light transforms ordinary walls, interiors, and city streets into canvases for shadow art. Throughout various alleys, public spaces, and quiet rooms, I photographed instances where shadows became ephemeral works of art—turning everyday settings into extraordinary scenes. In this collection, shadows step into the spotlight as the true protagonists, revealing the hidden beauty shaped by light in unexpected places.
