This artist book traverses the travel research of a MFA art student as she tries to find out what makes Alaskans different from the rest of us in the lower forty-eight. She examines the firearms culture, arctic wildlife, and local arts scene with hopes of finding a new life philosophy, but on the way falls in love with the down home friendliness and natural splendor that is Alaska.
