Born and bred in Sydney, Australia, in the mid 1950s and the youngest of three born to a local truck driver and a mother with an eye condition; She was totally blind before I went to school. I grew up in an environment where nothing breakable was left near a table edge. I spent a lot of time in the adult world acting as my mother's eyes; thus having a more adult view of the world than my peers. After leaving school at sixteen I worked at everything from door-to-door sales, law enforcement, to administration and management; earning many qualifications in my own time. I wrote many reports, financial reports, technical papers, and training papers for work. I've written many millions of words before I started writing stories for sale.
