The Outer Dark

The Outer Dark is a tabletop role-playing game without classes. Each hero's capabilities are defined by their past experiences and the tools they carry. With play facing rolls, it can be played solitaire, cooperatively, or with a traditional facilitator. Character creation is fast, the rules are straightforward, and the combat is deadly dangerous. It is a post-war world. The Great War is settled, but the ashes still float in the air and stain the memories of millions. The balances of power, faith, and science are in a state of flux. New secret societies are forming while others are emerging from the shadows of history to explore magick and mesmerism openly. The Old Ones stir in their slumber and there are fortunes and glory to be won.
