Immortality

Romans 2:7 says that we have to seek glory, honour and immortality. So why would the Word of God tell me to seek immortality if I am supposed to give in and die eventually. Did you know that the word “immortality” appears in the Word of God? It does not refer to life after death; neither does it refer to a spiritual life after we were raised from the dead. The word “immortality” means death-less-ness. In other words, death is not even in the equation. This book might seem controversial, but it will make you think about what God has in store for those who believe and seek more than what they currently have. There was a time when I believed that God was the Author of death. How can you say that brother? Because that is the way we were taught; “God giveth and God taketh away.” Traditional, religious groups will still use this phrase at funerals today. It was Job, in a fit of depression, who uttered those words, not Jesus! Jesus came to give us life and that in abundance.
