To God, one of the most important words, if not the most, about mankind is salvation. From antiquity to eternity, it is a word that cannot be found wanting in the mind and purpose of God for His world and people. When at first, the earth and heavens were created, man’s purpose and functions are to be blessed, multiply, replenish, subdue and to have dominion. Many there are in the world that is not conscious of this; nevertheless, the Giver of the instruction is not a forgetful hearer though men have proven to be just that. However, the disobedience of man brought about disruption in plans and purpose – not of God but for man. As it is written that, “The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men – Psalms 115:16.” This was altered and man could not function at the level desired by God for him. The craftiness of the adversary and carelessness in man made all to come under the sphere of influence of the “accuser of brethren.” Ever since then, God’s eternal motive and order of reestablishing the Kingdom has been to save man from sin, wickedness and the wiles of the devil. Salvation becomes the goal which much be achieved at all cost. At all cost we mean, “All.” To save His world, God had to devise a means of working out salvation for and in man. It becomes the agenda that, “all men be saved.” Oh how the Lord loves to save! Starting from the beginning, we mean, from Genesis to Revelation in the Scriptures, the outlines of God’s means of saving the people are legibly written and increasingly pronounced from one era to another, from one people to another, from one method to another. Of a truth, God works in mysterious ways. Subsequently, as we proceed, we pray the Spirit of God to help and inspire us to rightly divide the word of Truth. It is expedient for us and most beneficial to all that comes across this book to know that the sole way and path through which salvation is evidently achieved is in Christ Jesus for it is written that, “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved – Acts. 4:12.” Beloved, be it known unto you that, Christ Jesus is the way to the Father. Oh, how we pray it will please the Father to use this piece also as a means of bringing many to salvation through the knowledge of Christ Jesus. Amen.
