Act of Treason

In 1598 George Bullen, an amanuensis, is asked to write the story of a soldier on the run from one of the unofficial private armies of that period. He discovers that what started out as a simple love story develops into an astonishing and dramatic tale that changes not only the lives of those concerned but if proven to be true,the face of British history.
