Bone Key

It is 1952, in Key West, Florida, Albert Leer, a loner escaping his past is working as the groundskeeper on the Ernest Hemingway Estate. The body of a dead man found on a barrier island off the island key sparks controversy it was a Russian spy. But the dead man brings Albert Leer's past out of the dark by the sudden appearance of his adversary from Buchenwald, where they served as SS guards, and stole identities to escape Germany at the end of the war. In a face off with his nemesis one of them is met by the echoic haunt of the churning sea welcoming the arrival into the depths of reason.
