The Chasm - Intro and Chapter 1

A group of space explorers get thrown across a vast chasm at the edge of space that previously was thought to be impassable. While on a deserted “island” in uncharted space, they hear voices coming from deeper in the area, but are unable to investigate. After returning to home base, a crew is assembled to return to the region and investigate the voices. What you find out about the voices will make you cheer. What you find out about the crew will make you shutter.
