When The Republic Bled

In 1981, the Calamity brought the whole of the United States to a standstill, forcing all of humanity to take refuge in the underground nuclear bunkers and tunnels that spanned across the East and West Coasts. In 1999, Marie Moore, an eighteen-year-old Scout, is seeing what above ground looks like for the first time. Among the dystopian nightmares comes a brutal reality, where Marie has to fight for her life and the lives of the thousands of humans underground.
