Work in Progress

This is where, for a normal work of fiction, the plot summary would appear. However, Work in Progress is not a normal work of fiction. That’s not to say there isn’t a plot. There is. It encompasses the life of Michael Palumbo, from birth until death. However, the format and telling of the story takes precedence over the content. Author Garc Mraci utilizes a pastiche of literary forms, showcases an array of graphic styles, and layers the narrative with dozens of allusions and correspondences. This is less a straight-forward tale as a demonstration of the potential of the graphic novel as an art form. Garc Mraci remains one of the most exciting and pretentious artists working today.
