Tuners

Tuners takes us to the world of casters of innate magic. Basketballer Mark discovers his newfound magical powers while trying to stop a robbery. Mark (now dubbed "Brook") is found by the flashy and flamboyant Master Tuner, River; and initiated into their hidden secret world. We learn that Tuner magic is based on fire, water and starlight. Tuners that attune to these elemental forces are known as Flamers, Dowsers and Starchildren, respectively. Flamers and Dowsers are common Tuners, whereas Starchildren are the rarest. A Starchild can tap-and-channel the power of nearby stars, unleashing their energy to devastating effect. As Brook begins unlocking his Dowser powers, he discovers that an ancient evil force threatens to destroy their world and only four Dowsers can stop it.
