Welcome to an art and design technique that’s been around for millennia. As you create these drawings, you’ll be applying some uplifting geometry—not so much intellectualizing about it but interacting with it. Further, you’ll be delving into the world of symbolism in a way that will allow you to see the world differently. Yes, there is some intellectual study here, but most of our effort is the actual practice of this ancient geometry. This practice can ease minds burdened with chaos and distraction and relieve the addiction to rapid-fire mental stimulation and electronically delivered images. Gary lives in eastern Pennsylvania. He divides his time among writing, part-time teaching of undergraduate math, looking out for family members and a small number of good friends, and completing far too many unfinished projects. His educational background includes degrees in engineering, applied mathematics, and applied psychology.
