The Inner Glow
This ebook may not meet accessibility standards and may not be fully compatible with assistive technologies.
The Inner Glow is the first collection of poems written by Gary Spradling, a prolific and accomplished artist, after he received a diagnosis of ALS on June 5, 2000. Poems began to flow from within and he wrote them down day and night. In clear and vivid language, he reflects on his disease, impending death and the meaning of life. Line drawings inspired by William Blake accompany each poem. The Inner Glow has been endorsed by S. David, Brooklyn Wordsmith and Yuko Nii, Founder and Director of the Williamsburg Art & Historical Center. 100% of proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to the ALS Center at Columbia University Medical Center in NYC for research to cure ALS.
