In many nations of the world, different religions exist side by side, often with volatility, when their paths cross on issues such as proselytism and marriage. The reactions are mostly premised on the writings of holy books often written, not by the advocates of the ideals , but by their followers, or those who saw and heard them. More often than not, adherents depend on the interpretation of such books by persons viewed as being of superior understanding of its dictates.
