Jennifer is a teenage girl living with her formerly abusive father and her socially awkward, autistic younger brother. Jennifer is constantly haunted by memories of her alcoholic, depressed mother, who left the family suddenly years ago. She finds herself taking on her mother's life, as her life spirals downward tragically.
