Where Fire Sprouts

A collection of long form, narrative poetry surrounding the irrational fears that come with surviving a set of unthinkable traumas. Georgia tells the stories of her youth, ranging from the titanic struggles with her father to navigating adulthood with a fractured mind. We also catch up to her in the present. She’s found happiness and spent most of it trapped within the walls of her past, painting pictures with vivid imagery and weighted words. In trying to move on, in accepting what happened and moving forward, she does her best to do more than just simply survive.
