Frontwards

I've always been in love with socks. In these years I have enjoyed studying and experimenting with various construction techniques (worked flat, toe-up or cuff-down), realizing some photo tutorials that I have published in my blog Knittingcakes. My patterns are always influenced by art and architecture - I'm an architect! - but since I met Katiuscia Bayslak, a brilliant indie dyer, yarn has become an important part of my inspiration. The following patterns are made with her yarn (from which they are named) and she also realized the beautiful sketches you will find in this mini collection.
