Super Volcano

This work of fiction focuses on the near future and the crisis posed by natural disaster and population pressure. The natural disaster is the impending eruption of several super volcanoes, and the ecodisaster which would follow. The protagonists discover a solution to the problem, a breakthrough in energy technology, which is opposed by those who control the world economy. Will billions die? Or will the protagonists be allowed to create a solution in time to avoid a mass die back of all life on Earth? What is at issue is the survival of civilization and perhaps of all life on Earth. The plot is based in actual history and science. The super volcanoes are real. And the proposed solution in based in the history of physics. This is a techno-thriller which raises serious questions about the human future.
