Autism spectrum disorders (ASD) are caused by differences in the brain. People with ASD often have restricted or repetitive behaviors,  interests and problems with social communication and interaction. People with ASD can also learn, move, or pay attention differently. It's important to note that some people who don't have ASD may also have these symptoms. However, for people with ASD, these characteristics can make life very difficult.
