★PROLOGUE★ Life has never been easy in Aysgarth Village due to the merciless slaughtering of children every New Year's Eve. It all began when an occult association called the Dark Sages, comprised of three sorcerers and a sorceress, arrived in the small village. They transformed the New Year celebration into a forbidden custom among the Yokels by demanding the sacrifice of 21 children each New Year's Eve. The Yokels were led to believe that these children were taken from their families and slaughtered to cleanse the land for a better year ahead. This barbaric act continued for years until a certain individual arrived—their only hope. Can this individual successfully put an end to the New Year massacre in Aysgarth? What will happen when the Yokels of Aysgarth refuse to acknowledge him as their savior? Will he be able to restore order, or will he fail woefully in his mission?
