An orphan tries to escape a foster father by going to Alice Springs. A biochemist is on holidays in The Alice. The orphan hides in his car and he decides to take her with him as he looks for gems near an Aboriginal Reserve. An owner of a dress boutique in The Alice is in the middle of a scheme to take over her business. The three of them join forces to expose the scheme.
