Stephen's Lake, "a novel in parts," is a poetical novel of sublimation,
cruelty and voluptuous horror where every word, every gesture, and
every description, precipitate self-remembering. The author, the poet
and theorist Gregory Vincent St. Thomasino, has a degree in philosophy
from Fordham University and is a life-long student of the works of the
philosopher G. I. Gurdjieff.
