Ubuntu

A short story about a young boy, Ubuntu takes place in South Africa, in the wild Bush. A woman takes a group of children out to collect marula, a typically South African fruit. However, in the chaos of the arrival of an elephant herd, one small boy gets left behind. Marula have an intoxicating effect on elephants when they eat them because these fruits literally ferment on the ground. What will happen to little Paki when the elephants become drunk and enraged and discover him, hiding in the marula grove?
