To many modern-day comic readers Fritzi Ritz is the responsible everyday aunt of Ernie Bushmiller's Nancy; but long before Nancy became a national sensation readers tuned in daily and Sunday to the adventures of FRITZI RITZ. Fritzi was always beautiful, fun-loving, and caring, but not always the brightest star in the sky. In the comics she was pursued by Phil Fumble, whose own strip was ended when he began appearing with Fritzi. Phil in the comics always seemed to not quite make the grade, but give the guy points for determination!
