There are at least two Space Mouses in comics (Space Mice?). The first series at Avon was a brave adventurers and hero that traveled the solar system and beyond righting wrongs and saving the weak! Later in the Dell Series he is the brave space-farer from the planet Rodentia who travels the galaxy in his Looner Scooter, fighting the evil villains, rescuing the mice damsels, and protecting the people in Miceapolis. Not a lot of difference between the two, but tehcnically independent. Of course SPACE MOUSE was popular --- who wouldn't want to read about a mouse in space, right? This first collection offers three of those early 1950s Avon issues and the two Dell Four-Color issues – with a lot more to come!
