Tim Holt - The Cowboy Star Of The Movies – had a successful film career from the late 1930s into the 1950s, playing against such legends as Humphrey Bogart (Treasure Of The Sierra Madre). Unlike many western stars, Tim Holt never played himself, as did others like Gene Autry and Roy Rogers – he was a cowboy actor. In the comics it ended up being the same way because early on Tim Holt donned a costume and became The Red Mask --- and the bulk of his comic collection is as that heroic character.
