Although it was not successful in its short 39-episode run, and it was plagued with all manner of off-screen troubles, ROCKY JONES, SPACE RANGER is still watched regularly today on YouTube and on DVD --- one thing it did right was use film rather than broadcast live, so while more popular shows disappeared, ROCKY JONES survived. This is the story of brave, handsome, and skilled Rocky Jones, co-pilot Winky, and navigator Vera, and their adventures throughout the solar system. It was light-hearted space opera – and the comics captured that colorful style perfectly. ROCKY JONES appeared in four issues of Space Adventures, coinciding with the launch of the TV show. This is 1950s space action at its best!
