A human without culture is an uncultured human. If one is content in their job or small business and lacks the time to explore their culture, what will they do with the money they earn and their free time? Watching distorted historical and cultural movies and web series, engaging in shopping, sleeping, procreating, and ultimately dying, leaving behind confused progeny. Those with more financial resources dictate the narratives portrayed in these movies, web series, and online content, thus shaping new cultural norms.
India is a nation with a rich civilizational heritage, characterized by vast diversity, a large population, and widespread poverty. Engaging 1.4 billion people in a democratic nation, speaking over 400 languages, and embracing dozens of religious and ethnic diversities in nation-building poses an immense challenge.
We cannot unite India in the same manner as the United States, Greece, Iran, Saudi Arabia, or China. To unite the people of India, we require different overarching narratives. Otherwise, regardless of one's education, experience, or intelligence, both the nation and individuals will suffer.
India has a longstanding tradition of writing and narrating Puranic stories, and in a democratic system, we must utilize this art form to foster societal unity. "Namo Puran" serves as a narrative of India in the Puranic style, offering a high-level summary of India's rise, peaks, struggles, falls, and continual efforts to rise again.
