I was, and still am a very devoted father. I was married at the young age of twenty three. That would be old by the standards in "The Pumpkin Man" when men and women often had children by the time they were twenty. I devoted myself to the attention of my two children and told them stories on a regular basis. My wife was very devoted to our children as well. We had a lot of fun, my two children and I. We went for walks, bike rides, played games. I teased them, made them laugh, and disciplined them as well. I took them to their soccer, baseball, basketball practice and games. My kids and I were such great buddies. When we went out they would fight over who got to sit next to dad. hahahahaha. That was so much fun! Mom did not think it was fun. They are now fine adults. I prayed with them most every night. I would tell them a little bit more of a story each night. They were always anxious to hear what happened next. Daddy, tell us more about the “The Pumpkin Man”.
