Fathers Socks and Ties

“Fathers, Socks and Ties” is the name of a sermon written by Reverend Henry C. Walters for Father’s Day. It is a perfect example of the humor, grace and wisdom shown by a small town preacher with a heart that was larger than all outdoors. Henry Clay Walters died in 2007. Editors Note: This collection of sermon outlines is but a sample of the thousands of sermons Reverend Walters preached in his career. It was difficult to choose. Reverend Walters always preached from an outline and added things as he went. After reading hundreds of sermon outlines I came to the realization that any random sample would have been appropriate.
