Psychopharmacology is a practice that studies the effect produced by artificial and synthetic drugs on the behaviour of an individual. It deals with analyzing the changes in response produced by chemical compounds on the traits of the mind like sensation, cognition, response etc, Psychopharmacology includes studies conducted on all kinds of substances that are predicted to have potential interactions and thereupon influences on chemical and neural activity in the brain. Compounds that are found to have a prevalent reaction with the brain are termed psychoactive.
