Otherworld is not a story about any individual person, but rather a story about the human race as a whole. In a sweeping tale spanning thousands of years, it tells of the long and bitter path by which humanity came to be trapped in a world that is not their own. It is the story of a people losing all that can be lost; even the memory of who they are and where they come from. It is the story of hope being swallowed up by despair.
But it is also the story of all that remains and endures; of what heritage cannot be lost, and what deliverance can still come to those who have forgotten even the idea of hope.
This book is meant to serve as a counterpart to the 18 inch by 24 inch drawing titled "The Well of Mysteries." For your convenience, that drawing is printed in slightly reduced size on the final four pages of this book.
