From the Heart

Do you have those moments when feelings well up, maybe even producing a tear? A certain image may bring on such emotions, or even a smell or a memory, and the experience can be different for each individual. Emotions are indicators that the heart has been touched. With this group of poems, I will try to explore this ability to touch the heart. If I try real hard, maybe I can touch a heart or two. I will stay on the lighter side, rather than the darker side of emotion. In other words I hope to touch the heart and bring joy and encouragement, not pain.
