Mike Fielding and Georgina Willis are unusual friends. Mike has recently been released from prison and Georgina is a popular actress in a successful sitcom. When they are introduced at the golf club, they not only prove formidable playing partners, but form a friendship that becomes more than either imagined. Al Pierce plays a part in all of his friends’ lives, whether they like it or not, and Adam McNab is ready to retire, but needs someone to buy his business. Employing Mike not only helps his protégé find his feet again, but is the catalyst for new ideas.
