Journey: The Last Days

This is the story of a journey from a decaying situation to one with hope for the future. The main character is a young man growing up on another planet in the midst of an interplanetary war. Fed up of his circumstances, he starts a journey to a new place, meeting friends, losing friends, and ultimately finding hope. This was written when the author was 18 years old - some 12 years ago - as a way of expressing his feelings as he moved from the protected world of living at home to the real world. It contains rich imagery as seen through youthful eyes, elements of the author's life at the time. Ultimately the author has captured an ending and origin of life, which may be fitting for today.
