Eliza has built a careful life for herself. Some might say boring. The one adventure she’s allowed herself is this train trip—twenty hours coast to coast, a single cabin and the steam chariot of her childhood dreams. What she wasn’t expecting was for the train to be a soulless replica. Or that she would have to share her cabin with Adrian. Infuriating, incredible Adrian.
Neither of them meant for anything to happen. It shouldn’t have happened. The logistics won’t allow for it to become anything more. According to Eliza, anyway.
"Without Meaning To" is a story about two very smart people being very stupid about each other. One where love has no real obstacle but the human mind itself—the terror of admitting what we want, not just to others but to ourselves, and the fear we disguise as “doing what's best” for someone else.
