Funmilayo had to realize that choosing a career was beyond mere admiration for her father’s kindness and the intention to satisfy her parent’s ego. She chose a path that she would have to contend with disapproval from everybody. Funmi would have to abandon Electrical Electronic Engineering if she would want to connect with the inner drive that could make life worth living.
