This new edition of Quasi-notes is a significant improvement on the previous version, which had the unfortunate habit of stopping about halfway through history.
It is with great amusement that I’ve found history to be completely ridiculous, and American History in particular to be the silliest of all. From Puritan witch hunt, to the antics of Jefferson and Hamilton, to the time President Andrew Johnson showed up drunk to his inauguration due to a little too much cough syrup, the history of the United States of America is sprinkled with mix-ups and the insane put in positions of power. This book covers the time period from Pre-Columbus to present day in comical, readable form. Virtually every fact presented is true, albeit with a bit of poetic license.
