Plant anatomy is the study of plant tissues and cells in order to learn more about the way these organisms are constructed and how they work. These studies are very important because they lead to a better understanding of how to care for plants and fight plant diseases. While there are many books out there in the market, very few of them provide short and comprehensive overview with the must required basics. The aim of this book is to provide short yet sufficiently detailed overview of the tissue and cell structure of plant organs. The term anatomy, as applied to plants, generally deals with structures that are observed under a high-powered light microscope or electron microscope. The book covers on the structural or body parts and systems that make up a plant. A typical plant body consists of three major vegetative organs: the root, the stem, and the leaf.
