The aim of this work is to present a new analytical approach to identifying the likely winner of a table tennis match, based on a detailed analysis of the score progression within individual sets. Particular focus is placed on the dynamics of score development in the early sets of a match, which often prove crucial in anticipating, with solid statistical reliability, who the final winner will be.
