WHITEOAK in the British census : 1841

This is the first of a series which will, I hope, eventually list every Whiteoak individual and family who have ever appeared in the British census, from 1841 to 1911. The years 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881, 1891, 1901 and 1911 have now all been published as e-Books; there may also be a paperback edition one day which will contain the complete set, though this would be a pretty hefty volume in print. If you are looking for a relative in 1841, this list of households with at least one Whiteoak resident is as nearly complete as I can make it for now. Please note that these little books DO NOT contain the census images - only household lists, with my corrections, notes and amendments. However I hope they will make it easier for you to trace your ancestors, and buy the images from the usual sources should you want them. Happy hunting!
