Sentimus the Confused (fable)

The question: do animals have moral status? Curiously enough, this is a question posed by Sentimus the mouse, the main character of the story. This is a fabulous story about doubt, disturbance and disillusionment; but also about awakening, about conscious thought, learning and enlightenment. Confusion compels Sentimus to embark upon a quest for knowledge that ultimately forces him to face a plurality of truths.
