As a byproduct of his research, a scientist discovers a method for creating a perfect energy source. Clean, abundant, safe and renewable; it appears to answer the prayers of modern civilization. However, turmoil created in the wake of this technological revolution threatens to pull the world toward the brink of nuclear annihilation as entrenched elements act to protect the status quo. Across the country and around the globe, governments and factions act on their own priorities and react to events beyond their control in an escalating crisis which puts millions of lives hanging in the balance. The device at the center of these events, the Hydrogen Separation Cell, is literally a Pandora’s Box, promising great prosperity while bringing an abundance of unforeseen consequences.
