My Spilt Canvas

Everyone thought she was "normal" because she had tons of friends, a great relationship with her family, and dated a handsome boy. However, she was hiding a secret that would ruin all of the things that categorized her as "normal." This collection of poetry expresses the emotions of a young teenage girl as she experiences with her sexuality. Each poem is based on the true story of the author in her high school years as she comes out and enters new relationships while destroying old ones.
